5 Branch Coordinator – SME (Small and Medium Enterprise Loans)

Job Summary:  To supervise and coordinate branch operations, ensuring achievement of disbursement and portfolio quality targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise Team Leaders and Loans Officers to achieve branch disbursement and collection targets.
• Drive daily market activations to generate leads and grow the loan portfolio.
• Monitor team performance and address performance gaps promptly.
• Ensure compliance with lending, appraisal, disbursement, monitoring and recovery procedures.
• Chair the Branch Loan Committee and ensure complete documentation and policy adherence.
• Conduct field visits to support customer acquisition, appraisal, monitoring and collections.
• Monitor portfolio quality, arrears and collections, ensuring timely recovery action.
• Train, coach and develop Loans Officers on products, selling skills, processes and policies.
• Recruit, onboard and manage Loans Officer performance.
• Ensure effective branch operations, reporting, customer service and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for business growth, process improvement and portfolio quality.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledgeable about Small and Medium Enterprise Loans.
• Computer knowledge.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
