Maintain accurate accounting records, including bookkeeping and ledger updates.
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Prepare and support tax returns and statutory filings.
Assist with internal and external audit processes.
Manage inventory records and maintain accurate stock movements.
Receive, issue, and reconcile store items while ensuring proper documentation.
Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory variances.
Maintain proper storage of office supplies and company assets.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on procurement and inventory requirements.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders where required. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingFinanceBusiness Administration. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting and or Accounts Assistant Role. Progression in a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CPA is an added advantage. Knowledge of accounting principles and inventory management practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong numericalanalyticaland organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
