Assistant Lecturer - Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1.    Teach, examine and grade students;

2.    Supervise research for students;

3.    Mentor junior staff;

4.    Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5.    Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6.    Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

• Masters Degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing or production or Industrial Engineering or Automation or Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering or Energy Engineering or Technology Innovation and Industrial Development or Automotive Engineering;
• At least an upper second Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing or production or Industrial Engineering or Automation or Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering or Energy engineering or Automative Engineering or Agricultural Engineering;
• Experience of research and/or academic publication.

Tenure of Appointment

•    4-year contract
