Branch Manager – Logbook Finance Product

Job Summary:   To lead and develop a high performing sales team, drive business growth, expand market reach, and achieve monthly sales and portfolio targets through effective strategy execution and team leadership.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and manage Sales Agents to achieve business growth objectives.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly sales and portfolio quality targets.
• Build a performance driven sales culture through coaching, motivation, and continuous team development.
• Build a performance driven sales team through coaching, motivation, performance monitoring, and continuous development of Sales Agents.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve Sales Agent performance through regular field visits, performance reviews, and structured reporting.
• Lead and support marketing activities to increase product uptake and brand visibility.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with senior management to align sales initiatives with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, credit procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or a business related field from a recognized institution.
• At least four (4) years relevant work experience in microfinance and banking.

Key Competencies

• Proven track record of supervising sales teams and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of microfinance lending practices.
