INSURANCE QUALITY ASSURANCE & BILLING OFFICER

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain insurance pre-authorizations and approvals.
• Follow up on pending approvals.
• Review patient bills for accuracy.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims.
• Follow up on claims, queries, and payments.
• Coordinate with clinical and relevant departments.
• Ensure timely insurance documentation.
• Resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain insurance records and trackers.
• Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• Background in Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Medicine, or related field.
• Experience in medical insurance, billing, claims, or QA is an advantage.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and documentation.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Good coordination and interpersonal skills.
• High confidentiality and professionalism.
• Full-time availability: Willing to work full-time, including night shifts when required
• Based in or around Kampala.
