Logistics Officer

Job Summary: We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our fast-paced team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Documentation Management
• Prepare, verify and manage all logistics and shipping documents accurately.
• Shipment Coordination
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and transporters to ensure timely shipments.
• Shipment Follow-Up
• Track and follow up on shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays.
• Customs Compliance
• Ensure compliance with East Africa customs regulations and facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
• Reporting & Communication
• Maintain logistics records, prepare reports and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
• East Africa Customs and Freight Forwarding Practicing Certificate (EACFFPC) is mandatory
• Ability to work in a very fast paced company
