Job Description

To grow, manage, and retain a portfolio of Business and Commercial Banking clients.  The role holder will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, identifying business opportunities, driving portfolio profitability, and providing tailored financial solutions that support client growth while maintaining sound risk management practices.

• Develop, manage, and deepen relationships with clients within the assigned portfolio. Conduct regular client engagements to understand business needs and provide value-adding financial solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client bases.
• Drive growth in assets, liabilities, transactional banking, and non-funded income streams. Support cross-selling and up-selling of relevant banking products and solutions.
• Execute sector and segment strategies to achieve portfolio growth and profitability targets.
• Conduct financial analysis and credit assessments to support lending decisions. Structure appropriate lending solutions that meet client needs while safeguarding the bank’s interests.
• Manage portfolio performance against financial, service, compliance, and risk targets..
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery to clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Relationship Management, Business Banking, Commercial Banking, or Corporate Banking.
• Proven experience managing customer relationships and engaging with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, financial solutions, lending structures, and credit processes.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of credit applications. .
