Part-Time Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant

Job description

  • Develop project monitoring plan and indicator tracking tables that can be used by the project team to evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
  • Provide data collection support, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality.
  • Design, review and enhance M&E tools and implement monitoring and evaluation of the activities of the IMPACT and partners including M&E trackers, logframes, indicator tracking Sheets, and Activity Tracking Sheets.
  • Advise on all the necessary tools including systems for collecting, storing data and measuring the performance of the, as well as tracking the participants during the training activities, and following up with them afterwards.
  • Support IMPACT staff in the implementation of project monitoring frameworks and performance measurement systems.
  •  Validate M&E data through verifying pre and post analysis results, attendance sheets and other reporting tools.
  • Prepare indicator performance summaries and dashboards.
  • Develop graphs, tables, and visual presentations of project performance.
  • Train project staff and partners on M&E tools and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct routine Data Quality Assessments (DQAs).
  • Promote evidence-based decision-making across project teams.

Coordination with IMPACT Global Team

Deliverables

The M&E Consultant will:

  • Develop a detailed monitoring and evaluation plan for activities, outlining data collection analysis and reporting tool and processes.
  • Develop and keep up to date data collection sheet for both IMPACT Uganda and its partners.
  • Submit monthly reports outlining progress, outcomes, and results.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting as needed.
  • Submit a final report that summarises the activities that IMPACT and partners have
  • undertaken over the year with the necessary disaggregation of beneficiaries and stakeholders reached.
  • Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT).
  • Updated project database.
  • M&E dashboard and data visualizations.

Skills

Five years of professional experience in the development of M&E systems and results-based management for NGOs and/or international projectsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in information managementSocial SciencesHumanitiesor other relevant academic background.
