We are licensed by both the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda (IRA) and Uganda Retirement Benefit Regulatory Authority (URBRA) to carry out Insurance Brokerage services and Retirement Benefit schemes and Third party Administration Services.

Job Summary: Develop in house software applications by taking on assigned builds, configurations, and testing tasks to build our capabilities over time. Test software applications and customer journeys end-to-end for in house software applications—and monitor API integrations with our partners. Resolve user support requests and administer the firm’s hardware, network, and communication systems. Perform daily system monitoring, execute backup and restore tests, and apply critical security updates within seven days.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop in house software applications by taking on assigned builds, configurations, and testing tasks to build our capabilities over time.
• Test software applications and customer journeys end-to-end for in house software applications—and monitor API integrations with our partners.
• Resolve user support requests and administer the firm’s hardware, network, and communication systems.
• Perform daily system monitoring, execute backup and restore tests, and apply critical security updates within seven days.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A degree holder in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3 or more years of hands-on experience in software development using the Odoo ERP Framework is critical for this role, plus IT operations, support, and infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of IT Operations, IT networks configuration and support, Networks and Device security, and data-protection compliance.
• A highly reliable practitioner with the “dive-deep discipline” to resolve escalated incidents at their root cause.
• A team player.
